This post is late. I know. Anyway, I still wanted to share my week with you. Yesterday was one of those days on which I just felt bluh.. A day on which I just didn't feel great and I didn't really feel like writing an update. But, today I am hear and I am going to tell you a bit about the week I had - eventhough it wasn't all that interesting.

Hi everyone,

Today's Fallen For Fashion is about someone who might not be as well known as her predecessors; Alyssa Campanella. I got to know her because she was in a lot of picture of Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash on the CW show Reign. Then I found out that she was his girlfriend, former winner of the 2011 Miss USA pageant, and she has her own blog. She has gorgeous red hair and I think she is very pretty. Plus, she has a very pretty clothing style!

Sundays are usually calm and lazy, so why not write an update about my life and what I've been up to this past week?

Just a Little Chat

Hi guys,

How are you? I'm done well, I guess..  I just quickly wanted to write this post to let you know that I'm not dead. I am very much alive actually, meaning I am very busy. School just takes up a whole lot of time. Right now I'm sitting in one of my favourite cafes in town, after strolling arround and buying a few things here and there; two pairs of jeans - as I only have two left because they just keep tearing apart - as well as a nice scarf.

Autumn has arrived and it is one of my favourite seasons. Just because you're allowed to hide behind huge sweaters and large scarfs. Besides you can just snuggle up on the sofa with a fleece blanket, some warm socks and a huge cup of tea. You can watch tv all day and no one can tell you that you should go outside and enjoy the sun. I'm definitely guilty of watching tv all day. Once Upon a Time appeared on the Dutch Netflix last week and I've been watching it ever since, even my mom is hooked while she normally isn't a big fan of fantasy-ish tv shows. I believe the last episode I watched was 2x18.

Talking about tv shows; all my favourite shows started their new season! Downton Abbey started a few weeks ago, as well as Doctor Who (but I missed every episode after the start of the new season) and then the CW started with the new seasons as well. I loved the first episode of Reign, but hated the firt episode of The Vampire Diaries. I was dissapointed last season, season 5, and I told myself that I would watch the first episode of season 6 and if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have to watch it again. Well.. No more TVD for me. It used to be my favourite show, but I feel like they just don't know what to do anymore. Enough whining for now because The Originals started again! I LOVE THAT SHOW. Really, The Originals (The spin-off of the Vampire Diaries) had my heart when they first aired and this season premiere did not disappoint. I was really looking forward to it and I am really happy that it is back.

I guess that was about it. I'm going to finish my coffee and then head to school. I am not sure when I will post again, but I'll try my est to make it soon.

Fallen For Fashion: Michelle Dockery

Hi guys!

So today I have a new series that I would like to introduce to you: Fallen For Fashion. In this series I will choose one celebrity that I really like and analyse their fashion style. Just a little disclaimer here; I am in no way an fashion expert, but I do know what I like and what I think is pretty, so that is pretty much what this series will be about. It will be just me telling you about celebrities that I like and their style.

As this is the first part of the series I will start with someone who I think is very pretty and who I really like: Michelle Dockery. She is mostly known for her role as Mary Crawley in the ITV serie Downton Abbey - a show that I absolutely adore - but I also love her clothingstyle.

Yet Another Apology

Sorry guys,

I know that it has been a while - again - I just wanted to let you know that school is actually taking up more time than I expected it to. On top of school itself I am really busy trying to find an internship, in which I have not succeeded, yet. I do have an interview next Tuesday, but the internships starts the 16th of October and I really want to find a place before that date as I don't want any further delay with the courses I am taking.

Anyway, I actually started a planner and I hope that by doing that I will be able to post on here as well as doing my homework and all other things that are school related.

No Update In Forever

Okay, guys.. 
I'm sorry. I haven't uploaded anything for quite a while now even though I had plenty of time. I kinda just forgot.

But now I do have an update for you. I'll begin with some bad news. Yesterday our eldest dog passed away. I won't go into details but she died whilst sleeping which makes me a little happier because now I know she didn't suffer. Something else that might be "bad" news is that I will not start a YouTube Channel. I simply won't have enough time during the schoolyear and I was really happy with the content I was planning on creating. I do have everything ready, so if I change my mind I can always start making and uploading videos.

Preparing my YouTube Channel

Again I just want to give you a little update. I believe I mentioned it before, but I am preparing my Youtube channel. Yaay! I have always wanted one, so now I am finally preparing everything and hopefully I will be able to start filming soon. 

Also, I did some shopping today and I will be doing some more shopping next week, so I can film a haul. When my first video is up I will post it here.

Happy Birthday To Me

Hi guys,

This will be a very small post, but it's a post nonetheless. Today is my 18th birthday, hooray! Yesterday it was my little brother's birthday - he turned 14- but today it's my turn. We won't be doing anything special. My family woke me up at 8.30 this morning and gave me my presents. After that we just did what we normally do. As I'm writing this my family is preparing the BBQ we'll be hosting tonight for the rest of the family, but my help wasn't needed, so I decided to write this blogpost. Anyway, that was pretty much what I wanted to tell you guys. Our family won't arrive until 4.30 this afternoon, so there's plenty of time to kill. I guess I'll just watch the episode of Devious Maids that I missed yesterday.

Vacation, TV Shows and Hot Weather

Hi guys!

I'm back. I know it's been quite a while and I actually have no reason at all for not writing, so I'm sorry!
Anyway.. I officially passed this year of school - yaay me- which also means that my vacation has started. I haven't really been up to a lot of stuff the past three weeks, except for the resits I had to take and a few fun dates with my friends. As I am writing this it is 12.20 AM here in The Netherlands and there is one simple reason for me being up so late. Point 1: It has been really really hot the past couple of days which makes it really hard to go to sleep. Point 2: It's vacation, so why not, right?! About the weather; I know it is a Dutch thing to do, but I'm gonna do it anyway; I can't function in this weather. Some people might like this heat, but heat always goes hand in hand with like the sweaty kind of heat. I just can't function, so I mostly sit inside close to an fan to keep me cool - which often fails. Also my fan makes a lot, like an awful lot, of noise. But I'll stop complaining now; It's vacation after all.

Teen Wolf, Mosquito Bites, the World Cup and a Bit of Studying

Hi again!

So today I thought I would just post another random update about my not so interesting life.  I'm sort of having a week off because I don't have any exams this week, but I do have to study for the resits I'll be taking next week, and today has actually been a productive day when it comes to studying.
Yesterday and the day before yesterday have not been that productive because I was distracted by Teen Wolf.

Exams, Resits and the Air Force

As I’m writing this post, I’m sitting in front of my window spotting aeroplanes. Yep, not a thing most 17 year-old girls do on a Friday afternoon and it was not what I had planned to do, but you’ve got to live on the edge, right?! Now let me explain why I’m spotting planes  before you all think that I’m an actual lunatic; quite close to my house there’s one of the airbases of the Dutch Air Force and today, and tomorrow as well, you can visit their open door day. Which pretty much means that the base is open for visitors and they’re are lot of demonstrations to see and planes and helicopters to examine up close. As someone who has lived in the area for about fifteen years I have heard those military machines quite often and I can tell you; they make a lot of noise, but instead of trying to block the noise out by putting earplugs with music in my ears like I did for the past few year, I decided to embrace it and try to enjoy it as much as I can.
