This week I do have a real update for you. My week wasn't special as I only went to school for one day, but nonetheless I decided I'll just write for you. I don't think this post will be long as I haven't been up to a lot, but we'll see..
This week started on Monday the 9th of February and it was the first day on which I stayed home. Remember how I briefly updated you on Sunday about not feeling well? That only got worse on Monday, so I stayed home, missing the first day of the new trimester. I spent the day on the couch with my pillow, a sleeping bag and our dog next to me. At some point that day, I decided to start watching BBC's Call the Midwife and that was probably the best idea I've had in a while. I love it and within a few days I'd finished all the episodes on Netflix.
On Tuesday, I stayed home as well. I felt a bit better, but not well enough to go to school. I watched some more Call The Midwife and that was all..
Wednesday was my first day "back" at school. In the morning, I had to give a presentation which went pretty well even though my voice sounded absolutely horrible. Like really.. I can't remember the last time my voice sounded that awful. After that we had an hour of nothingness and then we had a Literature class. Around 12 PM we finished and I went home and watched some more Call the Midwife. I am planning on picking up the memoirs of Jennifer Worth soon as I find the series really interesting and I want to know more and read about it all.
Thursday was another day off. I can't really complain; I have three days of school and that's it. I finished the last things I had to do for my intern ship and finished season 3 of Call the Midwife, meaning that I can start watching series 4 online. Also, I did a bit of reading as I hadn't touched We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves in quite some time.
Friday mainly consisted out of me catching up on some TV-shows. I mean.. I needed to catch up on The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and Reign. Only the first two had success, but I'm not giving up on Reign. Before getting out of bed I also watched The King's Speech and in the afternoon, I continued reading and watched Prison Break with my mum and brother.
Yesterday was Saturday and I spent my day reading We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves. In the evening I went babysitting.
Today is Sunday and I've spent my time reading. This morning I finished We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves and after that I started City of Ashes. After I publish this, I will go and finish City of Ashes - only 100 pages to go - and then I'll go and watch Northanger Abbey. Yay for the one-week holiday I'm having.
That was it for today. I hope you'll all have a wonderful week and I'll talk to you soon.
Love,
Bo
